Averall Jimirikini Igobwa

It is with deep sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Averall Jimirikini lgobwa on March 12th, 2021, at the Kenyatta National Hospital, following a short illness. Averall was the incumbent Africa Country Manager, Planate Management Group LLC.

Anne Atelo Jimirikini was his loving wife and they were blessed with two daughters; Precious Khavere lgobwa (6) and Ivana Khabwengesi Igobwa (1). Grandson of the late Guga Joshua Musululiza Ndezwa and the late Gukhu Esther Khabwengesi Ndezwa, paternal kin; and the late Guga Zablon Jimirikini and the late Gukhu Tabitha Vulekani Jimirikini, maternal kin. Beloved son of Mwalimu Meshack Ndezwa lgobwa and the late Mwalimu Rebecca Khavere Jimirikini lgobwa.

His siblings are: Joan Vizengwa Limuga, Sheila Gavuha Mugwe, Fletcher Luzilili, Everett Shiverenje lgobwa, Hairinath Shanga lgobwa, Bethwell Shisanya lgobwa, Eulene Murhando Kamau and Ber-trum Magale lgobwa. Averall was fondly referred to as “Jim Jim,” the shortened version of his middle name” Jimirikini.” Brother-in-law to George Mugwe Maina, Clara lgobwa, Elizabeth Magare lgobwa, Kamau and Mjisa Limuga. And an uncle, colleague, friend, confidant and mentor to many.

Members of the Ndezwa Family, friends and colleagues, have been meeting at the Public Service Club, commencing on Saturday, March 15th, 2021, at 3.00pm, to plan funeral arrangements.

The late Averall Jimirikini Jim Jim lgobwa will be laid to rest at the lgobwa Family home, Jepkwon Village, Shamakhokho,Vihiga County on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021, early morning.
