Agnetta Ashiembi Chapia

We regret to announce the untimely death of Agnetta Ashiembi Chapia through a road traffic accident along the Mumias-Bungoma road.

Daughter of the late Benson Olwambula Wayaya and the late Mary Andeso. Daughter-in-law of the late Habil Ojwang’ and the late Loice Mutende. She was a retired long serving DC’s secretary in Busia.

Wife of the late Danson Chapia. Loving mother of the late Erastus Leakey, Loice (KNH), Janet (KTN News), Miriam (Busia county) and Ben (Kisumu). Sister of Henry Ayaya, Prof. Samuel Ayaya (Moi University), Andrew Bakhoya, the late Rose Musuya, Fred Etenyi, Grace Sungu, the late Tom Omito, Joseph Amateshe and Cleophas Amurono. Sister in law of James Ochieng’, Steve Ouma, Salome, Saul, Rachel, Flora, Emily, Joyce, Alice, Mike Musuya, George Simiyu, Dorothy, Rita and Wagaba. Mother-in-law of Grace, Philip and Joe. Grandmother of Dan and Lucy.

The body leaves St Mary’s mission hospital for her Miendo home in Webuye on Thursday 19th December 2019.

Burial will take place on Saturday 2Ist December 2019 at Miendo village, Webuye.
