We regret to announce the death of Omong’ina Jerusha Mandere Maroro, which occurred on 6th Dec 2019.

Wife of the late Samson Ochanda Maroro. Daughter of the late Mosoti Nyabwari and the late Kemunto Mosoti. Co-wife of the late Nyaera and Mobasi. Mother of Mary Rambeka, the late Lydia Ondimu, Loice Ratemo (formerly, County Cooperative Commissioner, Barnet), Charles Maroro (Formerly,Wakenya Pamoja Sacco), Maina, Joseph, Kennedy, Truphena, Tom Maroro (Teacher, Orogare Pri. School) and John Ondieki. Sister of Momanyi, Nyauncho, King’oina, Siocha, Moraa,Alice, Joyce, Nyong’ora, Bisieri, Sarange, the late Nyabwari, the late Osinde, the late Onyango and the late Nyarinda.

Sister-in-law of Nyandika, Onsongo, Daniel, Okemwa, Agasa, the late Ondieki, the late Simeon, Tabitha. Kerubo, late Bisieri and late Alice. Aunt of Jeremiah Maroro (Snr Assistant Director, DPP-Nyandarua), Margaret, Basly Osebe (Chief, Esani Location). Mother-in-law of Florence (Ag .HT, Getuki Pri. School), Elizabeth, Judith, Annah, Robi, Margaret, Mellen, late Daniel Rambeka, Charles Ondimu, Daniel Ratemo and Charles Nyabuti. Korera of Mirera, Nyandara, Nyaoro, Kaburi, Nyandega, Mokua, Mwita, Mogonchi, Mwema, Osoro and the late Chief Mathayo ‘Ratemo. Grandmother of Ombaso, Duke, Kevin Ratemo and Sharon.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital mortuary today, 18th December 2019 for overnight vigil.

Burial will be held tomorrow, 19th December 2019 at her home in Getuki village, Keragia Sub-Location, Machoge Chache Sub- County, Kisii County.
