It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Albert Matengo Owaka.

He died at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching & Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) / Russia on 10/07/2022. He was born in 1958 in Kisumu.

He was son to the late Mzee Gideon Owaka and the late Mama Yunia Owaka. Husband to Mrs Grace Matengo. Father to Ken, Helen, Bobby, Janet, Walter, Lillian, Rasmus and Anne (Bebe).

Son-in-law to The late Mzee Washington Nyakinda and Mama Monica Nyakinda.

Brother to The late Julius,The late Hezbon,The late Otieno, Risper, Sophia, Evaline, The late Jane and Akinyi.
Grandfather to Marcus, Ryan, MarkPeter, Blessing, Hollyne and Lorenzo.

The cortege leaves Star Mortuary, Kisumu on 22/07/2022 for a prayer service at CCA (Church of Christ in Africa) – Tamu. Thereafter, proceed to his home for an overnight vigil. He’ll be buried on 23/07/2022 at his home in Tamu and the CCA Church will conduct the church service.
