Alexander Mwangi Warira, County Director of Youth Machakos County

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr Alexander Mwangi Warira which occurred on 28ch May, 2019 at Nairobi Hospital after a brave battle with cancer.

Until his death., he was the County Director of Youth, Machakos County.

Beloved son of Ben Warira Mwangi and Ida MuthoniWarira of Gathtnia village-Murang’a.

Cherished husband of Agnes Waniiku Mwangi of Kenyatta University (Department of Recreation and Sports Management). Father of Christine Muthoni formerly (Karima Girls’ High Schooi), Victor Warira and Silvester Kamau (both of Precious Blood Primary School), Juba.

Brother of Stella Nduta (Minnesota, USA) and Angelica Mumbi (Nairobi Hospital).

Son-in-law of the late Nehemiah Kamau Ndiga and the late Naomi Nyakeru Kamau (Kiarutara Village), Kariara Location, Gatanga – Murang’a- Brother-in-law of Martin Gisairo (Kisii) MN, USA, and )asap Thuku (Gathinia) Nairobi. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cousin, friend and nephew to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Norwich House 4th floor – Nairobi, his home Kenyatta Road along Thika Super Highway (Exit 14) Daima Estate from 6.00pm and at his father’s home in Gathinja village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home at 7.00am, on Friday 7th June,2019 for funeral service at St. Ann’s Catholic church, Gathinja at 10.00am. Thereafter burial at his father’s farm in Uturi-ini (Mukungai). Gathinja village, Kahuhia Location, Murang’a county.
