It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Alfred Mogaka Omoke, which occurred on 30th May, 2023 at Tenwek Mission Hospital.

Husband to Wilkister Kwamboka Mogaka. Father to Kennedy (Judiciary – Malindi), Carren, Jerusha, Keziah, Paul, Rasugu, Linet (ICPAK), Jorence (judiciary Bomet), Rose, and Frank (TUM -Mombasa).

Son to the late Omoke Rasugu and the late Naomi Kemunto. Step-son to the late Nyarangi, the late Mong’ina and the late Gesare. Son-in-law to the late Magoma and Pascariah. Brother to the late Kinara, the late Masese, the late Arumba, Kemuma, Okari, Robert, Obwogi, Elijah and Nyabuto. Cousin to Moguche (former Councilor), Ototo, Bonyi, Nehemiah, Elijah, Ogwancho and others.

Uncle to Charles Nyakweba (Mosomba Nonguru) Alice, the late Omonywa, Orina, Davis, Rasugu, Zabron, David, Ombui, Steve, Nancy, Arumba, among others. Korera to the late Nyakundi, the late Onduko, the late Maobe,Achuti,Atika, Magwaro, the late Miruka, the late Aming’a, the late Maisiba and Hellen Ombasa. Brother-in-law (Mokoyoye) the late Onwong’a, the late Nyakundi and the late Murimi.

Father in law to Margaret Mogaka (Ministry of Health – Kisii County), the late Beatrice Achuti (CIAT), Dianah Magwaro, Callen Miruka (Blessed Sacrament – Buruburu).

Isebiara to Jackson Nyang’au (formerly of Ministry of Works – Nyamira), the late Omari (Kenya Army), Henry Atika (Deputy Principal – Nyakeiri Secondary) Kelvin Ombasa (Seychelles), Robert Okero (Migori Referral Hospital),Thomas Maisiba (Moi Airbase – Nanyuki).

Grandfather to George Oscar (Karatina University), George (Kenya Toyota), Catherine (USA), Nyaboke (Ekerubo Gietai Institute), Moffin (Turkey), Sarange (Nyangena Hospital), Shirleen, Zarene, Jannelle, Brandon, Joy, Lance, among others. Great-grandfather to Joy , Dabari, Blessingsdayvan, Brighton, Myles, Kyla and Jackson.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home in IsamweraVillage, Nyagiki Sub-Ipcation, Sameta, Kisii County.

The cortege leaves Kisii Level 6 Funeral Home, on 8th June2023 for burial on (Friday) 9th June 2023 at his home.
