Alice Nawire Mulaku

Sunrise:12th December 1949 –

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mama Alice Nawire Mulaku which occurred on 23 May 2025 following illness.

She was the daughter of the late Mzee Paulo Waudo and the late Mama Phanice Nanjunda. Daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Kenneth Mulaku Shitabule and the late Mama Filkera Apota.

Loving wife of Engineer Peter Martin Mulaku.

Sister of the late Dorcas Nabalayo, Frida, NAlinfes Nerima, Jane Nekesa, late Loice Nakhayo, Zipporah Mameti, Ann Namuma, the late Khaemba. late Makhobe, late Thomas, late Dadayo,late Sigangaiuma, and Gilbert.

Mother of Florence Akinyi, Eng. Winstone Mulaku. QS Fred Waudo, Irene Namano. Dr. Mercy Muiaku (Universiy of Nairobi), Violet Mulaku and QS Cynthia Mulaku. Step-mother of Paul, Caro, Phillip, Dennis. Lillian, Elizabeth and Ken.

Mother in Law of Dr Pamela Ochungo (Technical University of Kenya), Lillian  Chakava, Mercy Nthambi, Gladwell Lisanza, Kinneth Lidahuli and Willis Osodo.

Sister-in-law of the late Francis Ochieng, late Wilbroda Auma, Joseph Mumali, late John Wesonga, Jacob Mulaku, Prof Galcano Mulak0 (University of Nairobi), Bonvanture Otsieno, Julius Mulaku, late Robai, late Resa, Fridah, Praxidis and others.

Auntie of Dr. Bernard Wesonga, Consolata, Robert, Victor, Vinceril,  Antony,  Immaculate, Jacinta, Alex, late Ruth, Debra, Siivanus, late Alfred, Emmy, Wanjala, Alukaya, Jackline, Fanice and many others.

Grandmother of Brian, late Leanne. Gina, Irnani, Nathan, Ryna, Rayola, Shannelle, Ivan, Jed, Alvin, Alyssa, Naomi, Amani, Ryan and Jason.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the, family home in Maraba, Kakamega for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kakamega Referral Hospital Funeral home on Thursday 5.6.2025 for prayers at the adjacent chapel at 9.00 am.

The burial will be on Friday 6.6.2025 at her rural home in Emakwara Village, Elukengo sub-location, Marachi East location, Butula Sub-county, Busia County.

May the Lord rest her Soul in Eternal Peace.
