Amos Onyango Odongo

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the sudden death of Amos Onyango Odongo„ which occurred on 23rd June 2022. He was the Principal of Maseno Nursing School.

Amos was the dear husband to Pst Sherry Onyango. Loving father to Esther Onyango, the late Beatrice Onyango, Onyango Rachael, Dr. Beryl Onyango, Hellen Onyango, the late Emmanuel Onyango and Gladys Onyango. Grandfather to Telna, Mich, Geno, Ng’wono, Kwe and Gimor.

He was the son of the late Dishon Odongo, the late Gladys Omedo, and the late Alice Ngong’a of Ulumbi Village. He was the brother to the late Beryl Ajwang’, Eliud Otianga, Dorcas Magudha, the late Joyce Okinda, Isabella Obanda, David Owino, the late Eudia Awino, the late Mary Achieng, the late Isaac Okello, the late Isaiah Otiang’a, Jeniffer Adongo and Margaret Apiyo.

Cousin to the Owades, Ambayos, Otienos, Agoros, Saolas, Ger’s, and Okello’s.

Brother-in-law to the late Raryea, the late Okinda, the late Caren Okello, the late Okumu & Pamela Otiang’a. the late Ayangas, the late George & Justine & the late Peris Onyango, the lace Sellah & George Odhiambo, Paul & Angeline Otieno, the late Benjamin & Jane Ogutu, the Orakas, the Omamos. the Awitis, the Atienos, and the larger Abok Family. Father-in-law to Japheth.

Fundraising to offset funeral expenses will be held on Sunday 03rd July 2022 at CITAM Buru Buru from 3.00 PM.

The memorial service will be held on 05th July at CITAM Church Buru Buru, at 11:00 am.

The cortege leaves Masaba Funeral Home on Friday 08th July 2022 at 01.00 pm for his home in Ulumbi Village, Yala Sub-county. Burial will take place on Saturday 9th July 2022.
