Husband of Bernadette Muronji (Abasamo clan). Son in law of the late Luka Shiundu Chitala and late Elizabeth Khalili. Dad of Luke Anami (Nation Media Group-PLC), Simon Luvale (KCWEP), late Gerald, late Sorophine, Monica Oronga, late Francisca, Gaudencia Maniira, Moses Maina (KDF-IRH 78- Isiolo), Concepta, late Martina, late Immaculate and Hellen Mukeri (Kisiwa National Polytechnic), step children; Joseph, John Marisio, and Doreen.

The cortege will leave St. Elizabeth-Mukumu Mission Hospital Funeral Home on Wednesday .20:h., August 2025 for Requiem mass at St. Mary’s Lwanda Parish at 4.00 m. Burial mass followed by interment will be celebrated on Friday 22nd August 2025 at his home in Lunyinya Village, Shiand’ Sub-location, South-Kabras Ward, Kakamega North Sub-County, Kakamega County.
