Anna Muthoni Chege (Mama Muhoro)

It is with humble acceptance to God’s will that we announce the death of Anna Muthoni Chege (Mama Muhoro) of Illasit Village, Loitoktok, Kajiado County. She hailed from Gacharage Village, Kandara, Muranga County.

Wife of the late Chege Muhoro. Daughter of the late Huha Wagathiongo and late Janet Wambui. Mother of Rose Wanjiru & Muriu Kamau, Jane Wambui & Prof G. K. Muthakia, The late Simon Muhoro, Naomi Wangari & James Kihwanga, Huha Chege & Jose Wangeci, Rachel Njeri & Daniel Njihia, Linus Kabiga and Keziah Wangui. Sister of Simon Maina (Gachire) and Elizabeth Njeri. Sister-in-law of the late Linus Kabiga, Naomi Muthoni, Nyambura Nelson, Pius Nganga and Benjamin Mbugua. Grandmother and a great grandmother of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home in Loitoktok and at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Thursday 13th, Friday 14th September 2018, 18th and 19th September 2018.

Burial will take place on Friday 21st September 2018 at Illasit Village, Loitoktok.
