It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Virginia Wanjiru Mwaniki.

Daughter of the late Peter Njoroge Rwara and the late Gladys Wambui Njoroge. Daughter-in-law of the late Mwaniki Ngumba and the late Jennifer Kabura. Sister of Paul and Teresa Mwangi, Jecinta and Joseph Njama, Beatrice Wanjiku Njoroge, Stephen and Agnes Nganga, and the late Samuel Gathura. Loving wife of Joseph Mwangi Mwaniki. Doting mother of Roseann Kabura, the late Lillian Wambui, Catherine Muthoni, Christine Ruguru, Eric Mwaniki, Susan Wambui, Beatrice Wanjiku and Angela Wambui. Mother-in-law of the late Timothy Kangangi, Leah Wanjiku and Webster Kiana. Grandmother ofValerieWanjiru,Alvin Wahome, Joe Gateru, Emma Wanjiru, Hailey Mwikali, Keith Murimi and Ella Wanjiru. Sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, grandmother and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting at Holy Family Minor Bassilica this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (fundraising day) at 5.30pm and daily at her Matithi home to pray and plan for her funeral.

The body will be removed from Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 8am on Saturday, 15th September 2018.The funeral mass will take place at Matithi Catholic Church at 11am on the same day and thereafter interment will be at her Matithi home, Muranga County.
