ANNE FRANCISCA OLOO

We have accepted with great sorrow the passing on of our Matriarch, Anne Francisca Oloo (Nya Chief Muganda) which occurred on December 25, 2021, at Ahero Medical Centre in Kisumu County.

She was daughter of the Late Ex-Senior Chief Paul Muganda Okwako and Mama Ohera of Ukwala, Kapuny. She was wife to the late Peter Okello Mkan (POMBO) and mother to Felix Okello, formerly of Telcom, Margaret Ogonda (Toto), formerly of Maseno University, the late Godfrey Oduor (Abebi), George Otieno (Tiny) of Kenya Airforce, Norbert Okello (Sunday), Principal Ober Secondary School, Fred Ochieng of Miyare Primary School and Prisca Adhiambo.

Mother-in-law to Professor Richard T. Ogonda (the late), Pamela, Beatrice (the late), Rose, Evelyne, Francis, Roseline Akoth (the late). She was a beloved daughter in law to the Mkan family.

The late Anne was grandmother to Jean, Frank D. Ochieng, Mercy, Deo, Marcie, Dr. Rose, Olgah, Anne, Eric, Ochieng, Steve, Lilly, Isaac, Tom, Regina, Frank Osindo, John, Kelvin, Grace, Clair, Charity, Paul, Silvia, Prince, Kelvin, Celine, and 14 great grandchildren.

She was sister to T.L. Muganda, Ooko, Ombede, the late D.C. Walter Muganda, Late Chief John Radido, Late Odipo Nyabunde the late Odhiambo Sore, Alice, Agutu, the late Mathlida Akello, the late Onyach, the late Omuga and Anyango among others. She was Waya to the Mugandas, Omudhos, Okwakos, Sihohos, Ganglas, the entire Puny and almost the entire Ugenya constituency.

The cortege leaves Sameday Classmates Funeral Parlour in Sega Town on Friday December 31, 2021, at 9:00AM for a requiem Mass at St. Joseph Aboke Uwai Catholic Church.

Burial will be on Saturday January 1, 2022, at 9:00AM at her home In Lidhatho Village, Aboke, Ugenya Constituency.
