Anne Wangechi Mwangi

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on to glory of Anne Wangechi Mwangi on 17th February 2023.

Anne was the daughter of the late Benson Gathingi and Esther Wanjiku Gathingi.

She was the cherished wife of Engineer Geoffrey Mwangi and a doting mother to Susan Waniiru, Charles Maina, James Gathingi and Angela Wanjikii. She was a much loved mother-in-law to Eunice VVambut, Carol Kigome, and Anthony Were.

Anne was a sister to the late Obadiah Muchori, Isaac Iganio, Hellen Warnbui, Lilian Wangari, Charity Wangui, Lucy Nduta, and Jane Yapha.

She was the beloved grandmother to Aiabu, Nemah, Toboni, Nithan, Naomi, Noah, Myles, Matthew, Mark, Binafi. and Israel.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements daily at her home in Ngoisba. There will be a prayer meeting on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22nd February 2023 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from 5-.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral home- Kabati on Friday, 24th February 2023 at 8.00 am for a funeral service at PCEA Ngoliba Church at 10.30am and thereafter interment will follow at her Ngoitha Farm, Thika.
