In Loving Memory / 2nd Anniversary

Dearest Maina,

Your memory grows stronger with every passing year.

We wish we could have said goodbye, when you left, told you, you were our hero, and that you are the best.

Tears we cry wishing that you were here with us.

The years don’t make it easier, they said the pain would go but it seems we just got better, in not letting our feelings show and thank God for the years we shared together.

Dearly loved and missed by your wife Jane, your children Mwangi, Debbie, your siblings, relatives, in-laws and friends.

Eternal rest grant unto Maina, Oh Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in peace. Amen

John 1 1:25: Jesus said, l am the resurrection and the life he who believes in me will live even though he dies….

Made It Home

I just wanted to let you all know that I made it home

The journey wasn’t an easy one but it

didn’t take too long

Everything is so pretty here, So white, So new I wish that

you all, could close your eyes, and that you,

could see it too

Please try not to be sad for me, Try to understand, God is

taking care of me,

I’m in the shelter of His arms

Here, there’s no sadness, No sorrow, No pain, Here, there’s

no crying, I’ll never hurt again

Here, it is,so-peacefal; whtn all the angels sing, really

have to go for now, I’ve just got to try my wings

Dad, as much as a mourning, your death is a celebration, because you made our lives nothing short of one.

There will be a memorial service on 22/07/2017 at his ancestral home, Pith Nyadundo-Migori County All are welcome.

1st Anniversary

One year ago, you left us on your heavenly  journey which we all must do one day. While we dearly miss your presence, we are so grateful that you brought us up strictly and instilled valuable lessons in our lives that are still so fresh in our memories even now.

Your sudden departure has taught us life will come to an end one day, and we should stand firmly on what is right and face the future with confidence because of the assurance that God will never leave us nor forsake us.

Your love and very wise counsel will forever remain in our hearts, and we will treasure the memories we had together.

In Loving Memory In life we loved you and part of us you went with you. You kept us peaceful memories and although we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain broke down and nothing is the same anymore but God calls us, one by one our chain will link again.

We say there is a reason and time will heal, but neither the time nor season will ever change the way we feel for no one knows the heartaches that lies behind our smiles or how many times we breakdown and cry. We pray that the winds of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear how much we love and miss you and wish you were here with us.

Rest in Paradise

In Memory of our Mother

If roses grow in heaven Lord,

Please pick a bunch for us.

Place them in our mother’s arms

and tell her they’re from us.

Tell her that we love her and miss her,

and when she turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon her cheek

and hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy,

We do it everyday,

But there’s an ache within our heart

that will never go away.

Missing you everyday mommy, with lots of love your son Eugene Ochieng, daughter Nicole Ochieng, grandson Alexander Juma and all your loving family and friends.
