In Loving Memory / 13th Anniversary
We all have special memories in our hearts, of how great you were as a husband, father and grandfather. You were truly a family man and above all, a gentle, caring and kind father. You were very thoughtful, honest and a man of strong principles. Your loss taught us many things and now we face each day with hope and happy memories. Your influence still guides us and is deeply rooted in our hearts.
Dad, you taught us to share in your many interests and passions. You also encouraged us to think big, spreading your desire to explore new ideas and horizons. Your love of education and entrepreneurship opened our eyes to an exciting world. Dad, be proud for all that you did for us, for all the kindness and love that you showed us, for teaching us all that we know and for giving us all the support we needed. You have remained the source of our inspiration, playing a major role in developing our perspectives.
Dad, you were a man like no other. Your life example set a high standard for us to live up to. You nurtured us, taught us, fought for us, held us and most importantly, loved us unconditionally. There are not enough words we can say to describe just how important you were to us and what a powerful influence you continue to be…We Love you Dad. Your values and principles will continue through us all; for that we are all eternally thankful.
We miss your consistent, unconditional support and encouragement. You offered a firm foundation through all the storms of life. And now, we hold onto those memories in times of stress and strife. What we shared will never die; it lives within our hearts, bringing strength and comfort while we are apart. The fact that you are no longer here will always cause us pain, but you are forever in our hearts until we meet again.

Loving Memory
1931 – 20th March 1997
“Death is nothing at all… I have only slipped into the next room.
I am I and you are you …
Whatever we were to each other that we are still
Call me by my old familiar name,
speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorry.
Laugh as we always laughed, at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, Smile, Think of me, Pray for me,
let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it he spoken without effort, without the ghost of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is absolutely no unbroken continuity. What is this death but a neglible accident?
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval somewhere very near just around the corner.”
All is Well – Amen
Days, weeks, months have turned into 19 years.
Though you are physically gone,
our loving memories of you can never fade away.
We still highly cherish your strength, generosity and vision.
The Entire Kahama Family would like to extend its sincere thanks to all those who have generously offered their support from then up to now.
It’s been 30 years since the day you went to be with the Lord.
We are truly blessed to have had you in our lives and thank
God for all the wonderful memories that help to keep you
alive in our hearts.
You are dearly missed by your wife, children, grandchildren,
relatives and friends.
You remain forever in our hearts

Remembrance of a Loved One
31/5/1996 – 9/3/2016
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
Ron Tranmer.
