Anthony Kibera Maina

It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Anthony Kibera Maina, which occurred on February 28th 2026 at MP Shah Hospital.

He was the son of Cyrus Kibera Maina and Fidelis Muthoni Maina. Brother of Benaida Wambui, Stella Wanjiku, Lilian Wanjiru, Githinji Maina, Kibera Maina, Thiong’o Maina, Kariuki Maina and Patience Wambui.

Brother-in-law of Cliff Kipngeno Ronoh.

Nephew of Jeniffer Nyambura Kibera among others.

Cousin of Silvester Kibera, Ian Maina and Lawrence Robi among others.

Uncle of Valeria Muthoni, Nimah Ronoh and Kimutai Ronoh among others.

Family and friends will meet on Thursday 5th March 2026 from 5.00pm at the Holy Family Basilica for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The funeral service and burial will take place on Wednesday 11th March 2026 at Langata Cemetery at 10:00am.
