Apollo Mwangi Gituro

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Apollo Mwangi Gituro of Kirimukuyu Clinic, Wariruta (formally of P.G.H. Nyeri) on 15th July, 2017 at Tumutumu Hospital.

Son of the late Gituro Kigotho and Esther Gituro of Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County. Husband of Elsie Wangari Apollo. Father of Irene Mwangi, Patrick Gituro, Nicholas Gathambo, Catherine Ngunyi, Anthony Kigotho and Linda Mwangi.

Father-in-law of Grace Gathambo, Stephen Ngunyi, Charity Kigotho and Christopher Njoroge. Brother of the late Thiong’o, Gichuki, Gathogo,Wanja and Kiiru, Simon Githinji and Wanjiku Mwaniki. Grandfather of Amina, the late Abubakar, Anwar, King’uku, Nyagathiri, Njeri, Apollo Mwangi, Njoroge, Wangari and Samuel Mwangi. Great grandfather of Aaron and Jasmine.

Meetings are being held at his Gatiko home, Kirimukuyu Location, Mathira West, Nyeri County.

The cortege leaves Tumutumu Funeral Home on Saturday 22nd July, 2017 at 9.00am. Funeral service and burial at his home in Gatiko, Kirimukuyu Location, Mathira West, Nyeri County thereafter.
