Austine Rubia Mathenge

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Austine Rubia Mathenge which occurred on 15th October 2019.

Son of the late Paul Mathenge and Zaveria Wangechi. Dear husband of Mary Wangui. Loving father of Paul Mathenge and Emma Wangechi. Brother of Waigwa, Njoki, Wakarima, late Mumbi and late Gicheru. Step brother of Wambui, Njoki, Waigwa, Kabui and Maina. Father-in-law of Dadson Kamore. Grandfather of Rubia, Gatere, Maina and Gatere senior among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Muthiga Gwa-Kung’u at 3:00pm and at Corner House Ranch Restaurant Kimathi Street Nairobi for prayers and burial arrangement.

The Cortege leaves Nyahururu Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 25th October 2019 at 8:00am. Prayers will be conducted at his home and later laid to rest at Muthiga Gwa-Kungu.
