It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Ayub Gitita Chege of Waithaka village, Dagoretti South, Nairobi on Wednesday 3rd July 2019.
Husband of Esther Waithira Gitita. Son of the Late Chege Kiarie and the Late Ngenia Chege. Son-in-law of the Late Mr. and Mrs Muigai wa Thiga of Banana Hill. Brother of the Late Elizabeth Njeri Njoroma of Banana Hill, Kiambaa, Kiambu. Father of David and Peninah Chege, Milcah Ngenia, Dr. Peter Muigai (JKUAT) and Teresa Muigai, Grace Mwaura (Kiambu County Hospital), Francis Kiarie (Supreme Polythene) and Virginia Kiarie, John and Florah Njenga (Atlanta, USA), Emmanuel Miruru (formerly of Welcome Trust Research Lab) and Grace Miruru, Joseph Ndungu (Ministry of Agriculture – Limuru) and Josephine Ndungu, Paul Rundi (CPA Nairobi) and Esther Rundi, Michael and Grace Wairumbi. Grandfather of Esther Waithira Ngenia, Ayub Gitita Kiarie, Gladys Wanjiku Mwaura and many others and a Great grandfather of many.
Funeral arrangements are taking place at his Waithaka home from 6pm.
The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Funeral Home on Thursday 11th July 2019 at 9:30am and funeral service will be held at St. Constantine & Hellen Orthodox Church. Burial will thereafter take place on the same day at his Waithaka Farm near Mukarara Primary School.
