Beatrice Jeiza Lugongo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Beatrice Jeiza Lugongo„ which occurred on 10 March 20-26 at Nairobi West Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Warrant Officer Patrick Kevogo Lugongo (AF). She was a devoted mother of Lt Col Allan Kevogo KAF-.), Thelma Kevogo, Dominic Kevogo (BURN Manufacturing), and Abel Kevogo (HANMAK Technologies). She was a cherished mother-in-law of Catherine Ndika and Gisele Umuhoza, and a treasured grandmother of Ethan Kevogo, ati den Kevogo and Raphael Kevogo.

She was the loving daughter of the late Hudson Vodembeke and Benna Vodembeke of Vihiga County, Mambai Sub-location.

She was daughter-in-law of the late Charles Lugongo Ngalwa and Mama Felida Lugongo.

She was sister of Tony Vijencii, Kennedy Lugaye, Morris Avuya, Carolyn Vosevwa, the late Sebo Njemo, and the late Everlyn Vuyanzi,

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at the family home in Rongai Rimpa, Kajiado County, and at the Sikhendu home in Trans Nzoia County.

The cortege will leave Mashujaa Funeral Home – Defence Forces Memorial Hospital for a requiem mass at Nkoroi Catholic Church on Thursday 19 March 2026 at 4s00 pm.

She will be laid to rest at her Sikhendu home on Saturday 21 March 2026.
