Beatrice Nakhungu Waraba- Makario

It is with deep sorrow and grief, but also with gratitude and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Madam Beatrice Nakhungu Waraba- Makario, Deputy Head Teacher, Botoro Primary School, which occurred an the 12th of June 2021.

Loving daughter to Mama Jerita Waraba and the late Jacob Waraba ofTabani village in Bungoma County. Beloved wife to Mr. John Makario Monyancha (Kisii County WA). Loving sister to Janet, Florah (Kibagenge), Mark, (Late) Nalianya, Simon (Kenya police), Stephen, and Stella (Hafoland) among many others.

Doting mother to Caro (UAP-Old Mutual), Timothy (Mogumo), Cyprian (Kisumu), Patricia (Coca-Cola), Sylvia (Rwanda), Maurice (Riokindo) and Ritah (Nairobi). Loving Mother-in-Law to Florence (Riomoro), Carol (Nairobi) and Freginia (Kisii). Grandmother to Prince, Reagan, Sandra, Sasha, Solomon, Favor among many , others.

A doting Aunt to many in the Waraba’s and Monyancha’s family and many others. Sister in-law to Miroro, late Mokaya, Nyakundi, Nyangaresi, Beatrice Chrisanto, Simeon, Anthony, Mary, Jane, Elizabeth, Grace, Joyce, Maria, Abigael, Osebe, joyce-Ratemo, Ruth, Elmelda, Nakhungu the late Josephine, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Waraba- Makario Bonyaoro Village in Bomorenda in Kisii county.

There will be a major Fundraiser on Sunday 20th June 2021, at Dans Hotel in Kisii Town, as well as her home.

The cortege leaves Kisii level 6 hospital mortuary for burial at her home on the Tuesday the 22nd of June 2021.
