It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Matriarch Benendetta Mbwau Mutuku on 3rd January, 2026 who has gone to be with the Lord, after a long illness borne with typical fortitude and humor.

Beloved wife of the late Peter Mutuku Mang’ati.

Daughter of the late Muia Ngungu and Beritta Mutuku.

Loving mother of Francisca Syomiti and Victoria Mbithe.

Sister of Bernard and Thei and late Ndinda, Kimuyu, Kimondiu, Ndonye, Ndungwa.

Mother-in-law of Dr Patrick M. Mutisya. Grandmother of Patrick Mutuku, Hezron, Ashley, King’oo, Catherine, Mang’ati, Nzioki, Mbwau, Loko and Anne.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their home Munyiiki village, Mbiuni Location, Mwala Subcounty, Machakos county and Nairobi committee meetings virtually for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa. Machakos on Saturday, 10th January 2026 at 8.00am for burial service and burial at her home Munyiiki Village, Mbiuni Location, Mwala Sub-County, Machakos County.
