We, the Family of the late Chief Quantity Surveyor, Bernard Kamau Karanja humbly accept God’s will following his promotion to glory on the night of 9th August, 2025.

Son of the late Gideon Karanja & the late Esther Wanjiru. Son-in-law of the late Simeon Kagiri & late Peris Wangui.

Brother of the late Wanjiku, the late Hezekiah, the late Gathoni, Nancy, Naomi & Hannah.

Adored brother & father-in-law of many.

Husband of the late Shelmith Wangari & Anne Wanjiku. Father of Peter, Susan, Mary, Nancy,; John, the late Rose, Anthony, Samuel & Kevin. Step-father of Stephen & Mary. He is survived by 27 grandchildren Uncle of many.

A prayer meeting will be held on Tuesday, 19th August 2025, at St. Andrews Church, opp. St. Pauls Chapel, at 5 P.M.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi on Thursday, 21st August 2025, at 8 A.M. Funeral Service and burial will take place at his farm in Kirenga, Lari sub-county, Kiambu county, starting at 10 A.M. followed by internment.
