Bernard Mukunga Kariuki

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Bernard Mukunga Kariuki (BM).

Husband of Ann Wairimu Mukunga. Father of Peter Kariuki of K.P.C.U, Moses and Esther Kimathi of Safaricom Ltd and Ronald and Nancy Kairu. Son of the late Peter Kariuki Kairu and late Margaret Waihuini of Ewasonyiro village Mweiga. Son-in-law to the late Mr. and Mrs. Moses Kimathi Kimamo of Giakanja village Nyeri. Brother of Eunice Nyambura, the late Wachira Kariuki, Beatrice Wanjiru, Julius Maina, Mary Njoki, Elizabeth Mumbi and Charles Muturi. Grandfather of Munene Kairu, Matthew Kairu and Wairimu Kimathi, Brother-in-law of Kimamo Kimathi, Irungu Kimathi, Hon. Kiunjuri among others. Cousin of Nginga, Muthungu among others.

Meetings are being held at his home behind Safari Park Hotel near USIU.

The cortege leaves KU Mortuary on Tuesday 15th January, 2019 at 6:00am in the morning followed by burial at his Kamwanya farm near Evam Academy, Kiawara, Gatarakwa Mweiga on the same day.
