Bishop, Dr. Grace Wairimu Githinji, of Grace Restoration Center Church, Buruburu, peacefully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on, June 25, 2022.

Loving wife of the late Pastor, Dr. Jackson Githinji Karimurio. Mother to Pauline and Ituka Katendwa, Stella and Caleb Arinya, Esther and Victor Paraz, Philip and Ednah Kinyua. Grandmother to Lynn, Eric, Fonn, Brandy,Tanisha, Asher, Ivanna, Jess and Taraji. Great-grandmother to Gianna.

Daughter of the late Francis Kariru Kiura and the late Agnes Wainoi Kariru (WaKathura) of Mutira Village, Kirinyaga Central. Sister to the late Josephine Karuana and the late Nahashon Githinji, the late Beth Muthoni Kinyua, John and Salome Gathura, Gerald Muriuki, and Catherine Nyawira Njage and the late Des Njage.

Sister-in-law to the late Simon and Kathleen Mwangi, the late Esther Kinyua and the late Wairimu Githinji Stephen Kinyua, Elijah Nganga and the late Muthoni Nganga, Hilda Karimi and the late Alex Karim’, Easter), and Samuel Macharia Mukunga, Ruth Wangeci, Jean and Richard Mwangi, Rachael and David Mwangi and Anne and Moses Mungai.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Morgue, Thika Road Branch on Saturday, 2nd July, 2022 at 7:30am. The burial will be held on the same day at her family home Mutira village, Kirinyaga Central Sub-county, Kirinyaga County from 10:30am.

A celebration service will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on Thursday 30th June, 2022 at 1:30 pm.
