Bishop Joseph Ogutu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Ogutu Family, the church and Bishops announces the demise of Bishop Joseph Ogutu founder of St. John’s Everlasting Gospel Church on the 28th July, 2019 in Alabama, USA.

Son of the late Christopher and Agatha Ogutu Magaka of Kakdhimu west Karachuonyo. Husband of the late Beldin Ogutu and Joyce Ogutu. Father of Tom, Samuel and Immanuel. Father-in-law of Millicent and Tanouie. Grandfather of Charlene, Sally, Belinda and Imani. Brother of the late Florence, the late Consolata, the late Roseline, Hellen Awuor, Hellen Oseno, the late John, Marianne, the late Peter and Teresa. Brother-in-law of the late Adell Kitoto, the late Michael Ajwang, Peter Olima, the late Henry Awuor, Bishop Oseno,Axele, the late Chris Opiyo, Sofia Akinyi and Helen Akinyi, the late Jennifer Aluoch, the late Tukiko Ochola, Tabitha Opere, Caleb Anguk, Esther Ayallo, the late Prisca Adega, Julia Ogola and the late Jane Balla.

There will be a requiem mass on Wednesday August 28th, 2019 at St. John Everlasting Gospel Church in Imara Daima for 9.00am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on the 29th of August, 2019 to Migori County for an overnight stay. The burial will take place the following day on Friday 30th August, 2019.
