Ruth Nyokabi Waithaka
It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Ruth Nyokabi Waithaka, which occurred on 7th August, 2019 in South Africa after a short illness.
Wife of loving husband John Waithaka Ngugi. Mother of Sifa Waithaka and Imani Waithaka. Daughter of the late Samuel Karago and the late Florence Wambui. Sister of Jane and James Muiruri, Douglas and Esther Nyaga and David and Patience Waweru. Daughter in law of Rev James and Karen Ngugi Waithaka. Sister-in-law of the late Mercy and Kiiru Mahiaini, Tabitha Ngugi, Njuguna and Faith Ngugi, Sarah and George Mzae, Ndungu and Evah Ngugi. Niece, cousin, aunt to many. A grandmother of one.
Prayers will take place at Parklands Baptist Church on Monday the 12th and 13th August at 6.00pm – 7.00pm.
The Memorial service will be held on Thursday 15th of August, 2019 at 11.00am at Parklands Baptist Church.
The burial will take place on Saturday 17th August, 2019 at 11.00am at Kiajiruini Maragua in Muranga.
She fought the good fight; she has finished the race and kept the faith.– 2 Timothy 4:7-8
Rest in peace our dear Ruth. We thanks God for the time he has given you here on earth. I am confident that you are in his care. Till we meet again. Go in beauty!
