Bishop Livingstone Kilakoi ole Takona

 1/10/1925 – 13/8/2017

We, Mama Margaret N. Takona and the entire family of the late Bishop Livingstone K. ole Takona give praise and glory to God for He has been our Rock and Fortress throughout the past one year since the promotion to Glory of a dear husband, a loving father grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather.

Our gratitude goes to the Covenant Church International (K), Parklands Baptist Church, Christ Victorious International Church (K), Africa Inland Church (K) and various other congregations for spiritual nourishment and support. We thank the leadership of Narok County, the entire Naroosura Community, the various Committees, the leadership & staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the doctors and nurses who gave their best, family and friends from near and far, for their prayers and generosity during the difficult time of illness of our loved one and even following his promotion to Glory.

We are unable to mention everyone individually, but we do recognise and greatly appreciate the role played by all in helping us bear with the loss.

The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. And we will always miss our beloved.
