Bonaventure Onyango

We announce with deep sorrow the passing of Mr. Bonaventure Onyango, on February 1st 2019.

Son of the late Marcellus Oyile and late Florida Apuoyo. Husband of Mary Ayieko Onyango and Jane Akomo Onyango. Brother of Maria Adhiambo, late Adams Nyabera, late Herenia Omoro, late Pius Ogola and late Peter Agutu. Father of Bob Oile, Lorine Akinyi, Jane Okech, late Paul Otieno, Jacinta Onyango, George Odhiambo, Sammy Onyango, Charles Kibuye, Pauline Okanda, George Onyango, Alois Onyango, Joan Wetende, Fr. Duncan Onyango and Herenia Onyango. Grandfather and great grandfather of many.

Friends and family will be meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 12th February for prayers and final funds drive.

Requiem mass will be at Consolata Catholic Church, Westlands on Wednesday 13th February at 10am.

There will be mass at St. Peters Claver Catholic Church Yala at 3pm on Thursday 14th Feb.

Baba will be laid to rest at his home in Siaya County, Gem, Ahono Village on Friday 15th Feb from 11am.
