We regret to announce the demise of our beloved sister Doris Karwitha Manyara, was a Lecturer at Meru Teachers Training College.

Wife of Lewis Mwongera. Daughter of late Solomon Manyara and Salome Manyara. Mother of Prudence Nkirote, Mark Kithinji, Victor Muthomi and Prince Mutwiri. Daughter-in-law of the late Justus Nkumbuku and Rael Mukomeru. Sister-in-law of Samuel Kinyua, the late David Kiruja, Rose Kainda, Charles Mutuma, Jane Makandi, the late Naftaly Muthuri, Rose Nkatha, Geofrey Mubichi, Henry Gitonga, Pastor George Mutuma, Michael Gikundi, Judith Karimi, Edward Mwiti and Purity Kagwiria. Sister-in-law of Isabella Mugambi, Joyce Mucanci (Tr. Rwanderi Pry), Cecilia Muriungi and Purity Muthuri. Sister of Benjamin Mugambi (Assistant Secretary General, Njuri Ncheke Council of Elders), Beatrice Mbuuthu Marete of Timau, Alice Gacheri Kiautha, Margarete K. Murugu of Kiirua, Julius Mucanci (Tr. Katheju Pry.), Andrew Muriungi, Damaris Muthoni (Isiolo), Joshua Muthuri (Vet.Officer Mitunguu), Naomi Kenya Mutembei (Nanyuki). Aunt and cousin of many.

People are meeting for funeral arrangement at Accra Hotel Nairobi, Meru Teachers College, Mulanthankari Home, and at Nkuene, Abothuguci Central.

Burial date will be on 13th February 2019 at their home in Mulathankari Imenti North. The body will be collected from Meru Funeral Home at 9:00am
