We announce the promotion to glory of Venerable Canon Major (Rtd) Cornelius Onywero Ololo.

Husband to the late Mama Mildred Ololo, brother to Enerst Oyawa, Roselida Ajwang, Nyalori Adoyo Achapa, Paul Odhiambo, Opambla. Father to Rebecca Orowe, the late John Ang’awa, Rev Paul Adhaya and Elizabeth Ololo Owuor. Father-in-law to Oginga Orowe, Alice Adhaya, Prof George Lawi, Dr Rachel Oduor, David Obago, Dan Omondo and Veronica Odhiambo.

He was Nyawana to the late Killion Orowe and Margaret Orowe, the late Lawi and Mama Agnes Lawi and the late Mr and Mrs Rabuogi Okuom.

Cousin to the families of Ang”awa and Onywero of Kapiyo, Sakwa.

He is blessed with eleven grandchildren namely: Grace Orowe, Faith Orowe, Samuel Orowe, Mercy Adhaya, Joshua Orowe, Joy Owuor, Joshua Adhaya, Noella Orowe, Victoria Owuor, Josephine Akinyi Owuor, Esther Owuor, Rosebella Jamaa and Ochieng’. He is blessed with one great grandson, Onyx Odhiambo.

The cortege left St Elizabeth Mortuary, Lwak on Thursday, June 2, 2022 for a service at St. Michael and All Angels Cathedral, Bondo, from 2:00 pm.

The burial will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at his home in Ang’wenyo Village, Yimbo, Siaya County.
