We, the Kimani family, are grateful to God for the gift of Duncan and Jane Kimani. They both lived their lives demonstrating Godliness, unwavering faith, family unity and cohesiveness, forgiveness, love, generosity, selflessness and wisdom.
Their legacy was not one of worldly wealth but an enduring treasure of faith in God and love. Their words, full of wisdom and restraint, remain engraved in our hearts. Our Mum, Jane Wanjiru Kimani, remains our model of Ubuntu. She was known as “Nyina Wa Andu” in the village, a name bestowed upon her because of her overwhelming generosity. Our Dad, Duncan Kimani Kinuthia, is dearly missed by all who sat under his wise counsel.The grandchildren have carried the spirit of unity under the Kimani Inter generational Group.
You are dearly missed by your children and their spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren, Eddah Wambui, other close family members and friends.

Slowly hours have become days, days have turned into months, it’s now 3 long years since you went to be with the Lord. Your presence in our lives was the greatest blessing we could have ever prayed for. You touched the lives of all those who you met. Our dearest Njeri, today is exactly one year since you went to be with the Lord. How time flies! We miss your lovely smile, laughter and warm presence every day.
As we look back on the memories we shared, we are thankful for the days we had with you. We will forever be inspired by your principles of hard work, resilience, love and compassion, and mostly by your utter dependence on God.
Though it is not easy adjusting to life without you, we draw our strength from one of your favourite verses: Philippians 4:6, which points us to prayer and the resultant peace of God which transcends all understanding.
We will always be grateful and call upon the blessings of God to all who stood with us during the most difficult time after your passing.
