1st Anniversary
15th July 2019
One year has passed since you left us and went to be with the Lord. We want you to know that we feel so lonely without you. You were our strength and there is not a single day that we do not think and miss you. We miss your unconditional love, your charm and encouraging smile, care and generosity to the family friends and the community around you, we believe that God has you in His arms and we have you in our hearts till we meet again. You are extremely missed by your husband, Lazarus Musyoka, your sons Dennis and Derick Musyoka, your mother, sisters and brothers, relatives and friends.
Those we love do not go away, they stay beside us everyday though unseen and unheard but always near, Still Loved, Still Missed And Very Dear.
JOB 14: For there is hope for a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again and that its tender shoot will not cease. Amen, Amen

Though you are no longer physically with us, every day we find in one way or another you are back in our minds. Words alone cannot even begin to express just how much you are missed.

To lose people we loved so much brings pain beyond belief. There are no words to ease our pain, our sadness and our grief. We feel we’ve lost people so close, so wonderful & dear. We think about your special ways and wish that you were both near us. But although you have left this world, you’ll stay within our hearts guiding like an angel even though we are apart. For love is everlasting and so are our memories – your legacies are always there to light the way for us.

1st Anniversary
One year ago, you closed your eyes for the last time.We were devastated and confused as we had become used to your leadership. Today we look back and realise how much training you had given us by examples. You were a man of integrity, peacemaker and never wanted to waste time.Your word was your honour. This was your legacy which we try to live daily.Your memories are still fresh in us all. God of comfort is still in our midst even if the space and place you used to sit has no substitute.Your dreams and vision live on and better under your wife Purity.
We are deeply indebted to all our external families for the financial, moral and physical support by Fr Kathobia (in charge of Gaichanjiru), Fr. J Wanyoike, Franciscan Sisters, Camillian sisters, Madre Teresa Choir (Zimmerman). St Peter and Paul choir (Mahuria) and all local leaders.
Our entertainment team led by Gachathi wa Thuo who made the celebration real, not to mention all administration, special thanks to wendi mwega (Kariti-Mahuria) and members of public from Nairobi and business fraternity.
You are fondly remembered by your wife Purity, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and the entire Kibunyi family.

Today, we celebrate the great life that you lived; the great life we shared. One year down the painful journey, we realize that time is no relief. It is said that grief is odd when it comes to the loss of a loved one. One minute you stumble upon something that reminds you of them and you smile at the shared memories. Then the next minute you think of them, tears run down your face. It is like this for us every moment we think of that’s all the time!
You’re loved and missed dearly by your husband; Lena, son; Kevin, mum, siblings; Jane, Tony and Lorna as well as relatives, friends and all those whose lives you touched and continue to impact. For now, hope is the only thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all. You’re forever in our hearts. We dedicate this poem to you.
The Road to Eternity Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what’s to be, a resting place along the way to sweet Eternity. We all have different journeys, different paths along the way. We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay….. Our destination is a place, far greater than we know. For some the journey is quicker, for some the journey is slow.
