8TH ANNIVERSARY

August 3, 1944 – June 10, 2012

It has been eight years since you abruptly and sadly departed from us to be with the Lord.

Though physically gone, your noble character, forthrightness and humility serve as a source of hope and resilience to your family that you left behind. We fondly remember you for your ideals, virtues, principals, beliefs, integrity and respect for human dignity that you so dearly cherished.

We particularly appreciate you for sharing and instilling these invaluable qualities unto each one of us. We value and hold firmly to the guidance and advise that you imparted to members of our family and society at large. The virtues of humility, sincerity, modesty, selflessness and seeking peace that you exhibited in life remain a well spring in our livelihoods. You taught us the worth of hard-work, uprightness, humility and, above all love and service to mankind.

George, we loved you in life, and we still love you when you are gone. You are deeply missed by your loving wife Margaret, your son Zachary, your brothers, sisters and larger Musengi family, as well as colleagues and friends. We are encouraged by the fact that as believers we shall see you again during the resurrection day.

Jesus said…., “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live,” John 11:25

In Loving Memory

Days and months have passed. It is now seven years since you left us and went to be with our Heavenly Father. Each day we cherish the memories we shared. We thank God, our family and friends for the support and comfort they continue to give us in your absence.

Although you are gone, your spirit, amazing energy, laughter, strength, loyalty and all that we learnt from you remains with us and continue to inspire us.

You will always be fondly remembered and dearly missed by your wife Anastasia; your children Catherine, Anthony, Gregory, Philip Thato; your grandchildren Ralph, Ken, Kevin, Remmy, Sihle & Koboentle; your sisters Josephine, Regina, Margaret, and by all your nephews ,nieces, relatives and friends.

While you rest, continue to do so in peace, knowing we liberated you, and in our hearts you will live forever.

In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever. AMEN.  

One Year Anniversary

 It is one year today since the lord called you home. Life has not been the same, we however take comfort in the words of wisdom, courage and knowledge that you shared in your life journey. We cherish and treasure your memory till we meet again.

Dad, it has been five years since you quietly left us. We have missed the voice of tenderness of a loving father who was the pillar of strength for our family.

You faithfully anchored our family on authentic, genuine and enduring Christian faith which was first in our grandparents. We will continue to build our lives on this foundation. Future generations will read, hear and know that they are part of a heritage greater than themselves.

Your selfless life, commitment to uplifting others, dedication to your work sacrificing comfort to help others will be a constant reminder that our greatest and highest calling is to serve others. Your rare foresight and depth of insight hinted at ideas and solutions beyond the present which opened doors for many. This will forever be our inspiration to strive to excel.

We will always remember a loving father.
