1st Anniversary

30th Aug 1975-23rd May 2019

It is exactly one year today, since you left us. A central pillar you were as a mother, wife and friend. The void was catastrophic disruption, nonetheless, through you we have a glimpse of heaven.

Your inspiration abides with us, guided by the lessons you lovingly taught us. We are forever grateful for the family love you cultivated and nurtured with so much abandon. We treasure those lessons and moments, yet the grim sense of deprivation remains a constant companion in your absence. We pray, for a greater portion of your annointing and spiritual fellowship.

Your are fondly missed by your children, Terry, Mark and Mwangi and your husband Ngacha. You are immortalized in our hearts and those of our parents, siblings, relatives and friends.

Eternal rest grant unto Maurine oh Lord and let perpetual light shine on her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

One Year Anniversary

 Born: 17th December 1940 – Rested: 23rd May, 2019

“Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death” Songs of Solomon 8:6 (a)

It’s one year since the Almighty God in His wisdom called you home, after a rich and fruitful life. Yet, death has not — and will not — overcome the love we had for you and never will. We take comfort in the words of wisdom and the knowledge you shared with us on your life’s journey. Your legacy has become a pillar that we lean on and a reference point that guides us as we make our own life journey. Your commanding voice is a constant companion and your spirit lives on. We fondly remember the countless sunrises, sunsets and moonlights we shared; the joy, laughter, in good and tough times. As a father, you steered the family with your wise counsel; as a leader you set the pace from the front, becoming an example of unwavering selflessness. The principles you stood for are enviable and worthy for emulating. You were a joyful companion, a wonderful husband, an amazing dad, an enriching soul, an honourable gentleman, a leader with integrity and a man of great deeds, a testament that will stand the test of time. May your soul continue to rest in eternal peace.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” John 11:25

Note: In keeping with the government Covid- 19 containment measures currently in place, we will hold a memorial service only after the situation normalizes.

Those special memories of you will always bring a smile if only we could have you back for just a little while then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do.
