Don’t grieve for me now, l am free, I am following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back, and left it all. I could not stay another day, to love, to laugh, to work or play.

You are dearly missed by your husband Cyrus, children Nyawira, Ciku and David. Sons in law Chege and Mafabi. Your grandchildren Mo, Sofia, Fiona and KC. Sisters, brothers, friends and relatives.

Forever in our hearts, still loved, still missed.

Man is mortal but love for him is immortal.

FOND MEMORIES – 4TH ANNIVERSARY

Today, we celebrate the great life that you lived, the great life that we shared. Four year down the painful journey, we realize that time is no relief… It is said that grief is odd when it comes to loss of a loved one. One minute you stumble upon something that reminds you of them and you smile at the memories you shared. The next minute you think of them, and tears run down your face. It is like this for us every moment we think of you-and that’s all the time!

We miss you dearly, separately and together, and keep you forever in our hearts. We dedicate this poem to you.

Road to Eternity Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what’s to be, A resting place along the way, To sweet Eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, But never meant to stay… Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know, For some the journey’s quicker, For some the journey’s slow. But when journey finally ends, We’ll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the Lord. – Anonymous

In Loving Memory of our Beloved

17TH ANNIVERSARY & 8TH ANNIVERSARY

As the morning sun gloriously surrenders its shine so was God’s beautiful promise when He formed you both. Beautiful unadulterated souls, carefully set apart for a time as that which you walked this earth. Your footprints, a treasure, still very fresh in alt the lives you wholeheartedly touched with your goodness and Godliness.

It’s divine how under your leadership in all the different facets of life people thrived. You aligned with wisdom and shepherded many into their green of promise. Your responsibility was to lead many to the light. For that we thank you.

Thank you Joram & Monica for living well. Thank you for beating all odds and rising to be the best and highest persons you were created to be. Thank you for being humble and ideal examples we all admire and strive to reach. Thank you for allowing God to use you, guide you and now years later we are still enjoying the rhythm that those relationships created.

Your hearts may have stopped beating but the heartbeat you set in motion lives on. Your family, relatives, friends and all that came into contact with you, miss you. May the light you both cherished, surround you, as you in song and superfluous joy enjoy love in all eternity. We love you!

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold Jewelry – or fine clotheS. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. 1 PETER 3:3-4

1st Anniversary / In Loving Memory

(25th May 1958 — 24th June 2018)

One year ago, the world lost a kind, loving and charismatic woman. Our world is no longer the same since God took you away. We all still wish that you were here. We love you, miss you and no one can take your place. You were the best wife to your loving husband and best mama to children. We know that God welcomed you into his heavenly kingdom.

Mama, we will not remember you with flowers or with a poem because flowers will fade and the poem will be forgotten one day, but we will keep you in our hearts so you will be with us every day. You are greatly missed by your dear husband, Mr. Jason Makanga, your loving children Fred, Ishmael and Perus. Fondly remembered by your grandchildren, family and friends.

Your legacy still lives on.

Family, Church and friends will gather on Saturday 14th December, 2019 at her home in Marula village, Marakusi Sub-location, Lugari Sub-county in Kakamega County for her memorial service.

“In our hearts your memory lingers, always tender, fond and true, there is not a day that we do not think of you”.
