In Loving Memory

Papa, it’s hard to believe that it has been a year. It feels like it was just yesterday that we were all together. We can still hear your voice and feel your laughter. Not a day goes by without us thinking of you. Words cannot express how we feel. It still does not make sense. It’s not the same without you. We love you and miss you so much it hurts. Papa, we didn’t get time to say goodbye, but we draw strength from the living God who is our refuge in times of trouble. Until we meet again, rest with the angels Papa.

Dearly missed by your wife Ngina, children Wambui, Njeri, Jiji, Mochu and the families of Mwangi Karweti and Thomas Mochu.

Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ. 1st Thess 5:18

1st Anniversary

Mzee Jefitha Okemwa Omenge

A year ago, God saw a beautiful flower in his garden and plucked it away from the sorrows and tribulations of this world. You obediently headed his call, and a golden heart went silent. This breaks us, but we know that you are now resting peacefully under his bosom and bliss. We thank God for the time he allowed you to be our earthly dad. We endeavor to uphold the character you instilled in us. You are dearly missed by your loving wife Mama Yunes, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You’re in God’s hands papa; rest well.

2nd Anniversary

Isaac Omenge Okemwa

Our beloved Isaac, two painful years have elapsed since you suddenly departed from us with not so much as a goodbye. Our lives were painfully changed, and our innermost fears were realized. Such an enigma you were, whose virtues we now uphold so dearly. You gave us your precious selfless love and sacrifice from deep within. Knowing how an amazing person you were fills us with tremendous pride and fond memories. Our grief has not eased; but with each passing day, we strive to continue your wonderful legacy. Sail into the dawn and smile upon us. You’re greatly missed by your loving mother, siblings, nieces, and nephews. God has prepared for you a beautiful place where we will meet again.

There are no adequate or befitting words that can describe what the two of you meant to our family. You two were unbelievably alike, caring characters that can only he described in superlatives. Your departure left an abyss of emptiness. We love you, but Jehovah loves you more. Heaven surely gained two Angels.

The Lord given and The Lord taketh. May we praise Him forever!
