Gone, Yet Always Here!

Sunrise:11/7/2004 – Sunset: 19/12/2022

Each second that passes without you here grows longer, as do our memories of you. Many things have been forgotten since you left us, but you will never be one of the forgotten.

We celebrate this momentous day where God chose you to walk beside him.

A year without you could never be greater than the number of ways we love you.

It never feels real but there’s nothing we can do to reverse time and bring you back but regardless your memories will forever and always be ingrained in our minds.

You will always be remembered, missed but most especially loved by your loving mum, sister and family.

11/6/1972 – 18/12/2022

A year ago, your name was called up yonder. God saw your physical suffering and a cure was not to be. He
wrapped you in His everlasting, loving arms and whispered “Come with Me-”

You-suffered much in silence, but your Spirit was steadfast, not bending. You faced your pain with courage until the end. The fighter that you are, you tried so hard to stay with us but God had the best cure, eternal peace and everlasting rest. He took you to His loving home on high and freed you from the pain forever.

Words can’t express how much we miss your endless stories and sense of humour. We cherish the lessons we learnt
from your encouraging messages particularly your posts on Facebook. Your love, courage and wisdom continue to inspire us each step of the way.

Fondly remembered and dearly missed by your husband, dad & mom, your siblings, in-laws, cousins, nephews,
nieces, St. Christopher’s ACK fraternity, your colleagues at Egerton University & JKUAT, your beloved KTTC family and your many many friends.

Rest In Peace Kirigo!

Till we meet on that beautiful shore, singing melodious songs of the blessed: And our spirits shall sorrow no more

Unveiling of The Cross

Tuesday 16th Dec 1997 – Sunday 8th Aug 2021

Not all beautiful flowers bear thorns….The 16th day of December 2023 marks the twenty- sixth year since the birth of our dear daughter, sister, aunt, niece and grandchild Hannah Ngina ‘C’ Mbugua. And in this same year, we commemorate the second anniversary of her sad demise. In what flavour do you bake a tombstone birthday cake, if ever there was one, for one so loved?

We were left so undone, forlorn, weeping and keeping long vigils by the silent settling unsettling dust. Indeed only by burning itself did our candle spread light.

But for our precious Ngina ‘C’s sake we pray for strength and grace to turn again to life and maybe one day smile again. We nerve our hearts and with still trembling hands are doing our best to accept this heartrending parting and making sense of this loss, by comforting other shattered hearts through our painful experience of losing our dear Ngina ‘C’.

This pain doesn’t go away, instead it finds a nesting place in the heart and makes its’ bed, becoming a part of us, waking up and sleeping in tandem with us. Our dear nestling became a fledgling too soon.

To mark her birthday, we shall hold a Memorial Mass and Unveiling of her Cross on Saturday 16th December 2023 at Cianda, 1300hrs, We kindly request guests to be seated by 1230hrs.

Fare thee well Hannah Ngina ‘C’ Mbugua. In Gods arms till we meet again.
