Death has occurred of Miss Loice Akeyo Ng’oma formerly of PathFinder International, Kwale, after a long battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Richard Ng’oma Orero & Teresa Ng’oma of Kadongo Kabondo Homa Bay County. Mother of Edith June.

Step-daughter of Mathlida, Damar & Julia Ng’oma. Other uncle, are the late Adongo Orero the late Musa Olero, Philip Ong’oma & Samwel Ngare (Kotieno, Oyugis).

Sister of Mike Ng’oma, Puis, Denish, Fred, Erick, William, Joshua & Shem am Nereah, Milka, Jane, Rachel, Everline, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Eunice, Night, among others.

Cousin of Juliet Owino, Dorah Ronny, Enosh, Pinto, June & Maurine.

Her aunties include: Mary Ong’oma, Juliana Okoth, Maryanne, Susan & Grace Ogada.

Sister-in-law of Harry Owino, Steve Biko, Ken Njuguna (USA), Tebbies Ng’oma, Mary Odhiambo, Nicky, Emily, Quinter, Susan & Lynn among others.

Her uncles include: the late Peter Oriwa, Ronny Oriwa, Elijah, Denis, Benson, Samwel, Edwin & Robert, among others.

Granddaughter of Mzee Antony Oriwa “Jakenya” and the late Isdorah Oriwa, Pamela Oriwa, Jonathan Otieno and Richard, among others.

The body is at Lee/Nairobi Hospital Funeral Home. There will be a harambee at All Saints Cathedral Hall Nairobi on Wednesday December 23rd, 2020, starting from 5.00pm to offset part of the hospital bill & funeral expenses.

She will be laid to rest on 29th December, 2020 at her home in Kotieno Oyugis.

You have fought the good fight and we thank the Almighty God for your time with us.

He was the son of the late Nehemiah Mwau and the late Esther Kalondu.

Loving husband to Rose Mukulu Mwau.

Father to Nzioka David, Purity Kiange, Judy David and Eric Mwau.

Father in law to Rev. Titus Kiange and Valerie Shianyisa. Grandfather to Trizer, Ceaser, Alvita, Amariah, Tivadar, Leyzah and Amariah.

Brother of late Noah, late Musa, Aaron, Rael, Sabina, Helen, Loiuse, late Susan, John & Hellen. Uncle, nephew and a friend to many.

Dad devoted to serve God as an elder in ABC Church, and Zone Scripture Programme leader in The Gideons International. He lived and earned his life’s labour honestly.

The funeral service will take place on 29/12/2020 at Mukaa Girls’ Grounds starting 11am.

Grandfather of Wema Muthoni, Taji Ndirangu and Thandiwe Muthoni.

Brother of the late Mary Mumbi Gitahi, Susan Muthoni Kariuki, the late Johnson Mwangi Kariuki, Peterson Muthui Kariuki, Janet Nyaruai Wahome, Lucy Wangeci and the late Samuel Waigwa Kariuki. An uncle and friend of many.

The cortege will depart from Umash Funeral Home, Mbagathi Road on Thursday, 24th December, 2020 at 8:00am.

The funeral service will be held on the same day at PCEA Lekurruki Church, Upper Matasia, Ngong.

The burial will take place thereafter at his residence-Impala Farm, Ngong’.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at her Yamumbi home in Eldoret.

The cortege will leave Moi Referral Hospital Mortuary, on Monday 28th December, 2020 at 8:00am.

The requiem Mass will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Yamumbi at 11:00am.

Thereafter burial ceremony at her home Yamumbi farm.

Mwembe, Phares and Judy Sister to the late Charles, Christine, Judith (UoN), Mango, Masawa (Warma, Kakamega), Philip, Lewis (KFS, Elgeyo-Marakwet), Karen and Richard both of Texas, USA. Beloved husband of Lydiah Kwamboka Gatete (County Attorney, Nairobi City County) and Rebecca Wangui Gatete.

A dear son of the Late Henry Maina Gatete and the Late Mama Nancy Wambui Maina Gatete.

Most adored father of the Late Henry Maina Gatete, Mary Karugi Maina, Barbara Wambui Gatete, James Masila Musyoki, Sean Maina Gatete and Nikkitta Wambui Gatete.

He was Grandfather to Dimitri Maina Gatete, Katya Wangui Gatete and little Henry Musyoki Manila.

Peter Muiruri Gatete was brother to Andrew Kamau Gatete, Ruth Kamau Gatete, Edward Mburu Gatete, Elizabeth Mburu Gatete, John Patrick Mwangi Gatete and Sally Mwangi.

He was uncle to Sheila Wambui Kamau, Henry Maina Kamau, Elaine Wambui Mburu, Eugene Henry Maina, Lee Waruingi, and Sean Muiruri.

Nephew to Edward Mburu, Kibunja Gatete, Ndugo Gatete, Peninah Kiarie, the late Mwangi, the late Gichango, the late Mukuha, the late Kireka, the late Muthua, the late Alice Muthoni, Njuguna amongst others.

Meetings are being held daily at his home, Karen Kerarapon 7th Drive from 4:00 pm.

A fundraising to offset the hospital bill and funeral expenses will be held on Thursday 24th December 2020 at 4:40 pm at Ngong Hills Hotel, Ngong Road.

There shall be a memorial service on Monday 28th December 2020 at Nairobi Chapel Ngong Road at 10.00 am.

The final journey of the late Peter Gatete will be on Tuesday 29th of December 2020, he will be laid to rest at his home in Kamahuha, Murang’a County.
