It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of our beloved son and brother John Thandi Rwamba on 2/3/2020.

Son of the late Dadson Rwamba Kahia and Grace Wairimu Rwamba. Husband of Jacqueline Marie of Hampshire, UK. Father of Gilbert Rwamba Thandi. Brother of Peter Mwai, Gabriel Gatheru, James Njoroge, Joseph Wanjohi, Simon Wachira, Veronica Wanjugu, Wamuyu, Mary Wanjiku, the late Patrick Wamai and Loise Wangeci. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are meeting at Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga Building, St. Mother Theresa hall, 7th floor from 5.30pm to 8pm. Capital Mall, Utawala and home in Othaya, Nyamari village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Mukurwe-ini Funeral Home on 12th March 2020, Thursday at 8.00am followed by funeral service at Nyamari Village, Gitundu Location, Othaya, Nyeri.

Son of the late Mbondo Mbith and the late Mary Mbeke. Beloved husband of Rhoda Katuku. Father of Beatrice Kalunde (Matuu), Andrew Mumo, Francis Musyoki, the late Eunice Wavinya, Titus Kioko, Ruth Muthio, Timothy Muthama and Zibora Mutono. Brother of Daudi Musyoka, George Kibaya and the late Simmon Mbithi. Son-in-law of the late Kimani Mauta and late Sarah Mukengya. In-laws of late Katiku Mulela (Matuu), the late Anthony Kusu, Philip Kimuyu Nganda (Karaba, Mwea), the late Kisilu Ndolo, the late Makau Nzeke (Kambu, Makueni), Pastor Jacob Katoki, Mary Kaswii among others.

Father-in-law of Andrew Katiku (Matuu), Shadrack Mulei (Kivani) and the late Bernard Ngumuta (Masi). Uncle of Joel Muendo, Maithya Kibaya, Mbondo Mbithi, Daniel Muasa Ngotho, Richard Kioko, late Rev. Mutinda Mbinda among others. Grandfather of Stephen Mutunga (Kenya Police), Dorcas Ndinda (Athi river), Obedi Ngie, Victoria Musyoki, Denis Musyoki (JKIA), Charles Muasya (Mombasa), James Mulei, Joseph Mbondo (T.S.C), Julias Muendo, Mutuku, Catherine, Jesica, Musyoka, Peter among others,

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at his home Ndaluni Village, Kathana Location Machakos County and Makuti Drive (Kabaa).

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Machakos) on Saturday 14th March at 8:00am for a funeral service and for burial on the same day starting from 11:00arn at his home Ndaluni Village, Kathana Location Machakos County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Janet Wanjiku Karanja on Thursday 5th March 2020 after a long illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Ernest Karanja Kamau and the late Esther Wangari Karanja of Mukurwe Village, Mangu Ward, Gatundu North Sub-County. Sister of George Kamau, Eunice Mbugua (Thika), the late Samuel Kungu, Michael Muturi Karanja, Annah Njoki, Eutychus Ndegwa Karanja, Catherine Njeri Muigai (Kahawa Sukari) and Gilbert Kaniaru. Stepsister, sister-in-law, cousin, auntie and grandma of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Mukurwe (next to JK Centre) at 4pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. In Nairobi meetings are being held on Tuesday and Wednesday at All Saints Cathedral starting at 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday 12th March 2020 at 8.30 am followed by prayers and burial service at her home, Mukurwe Village, Mangu Ward at 11.00 am.

Associates) and father of Casey Otara. Brother of Laban Machuki (PostBank Kenya) and Alphayo Kerima (University of Chicago). Grandson of the late Bethwel Ongubo, the late Loise Nyangweso of Raitigo Scheme and the Late Fredrick Ongoto and late Agnes Nyanchama Ongoto of Mecheo Scheme. Nephew of Mabira, Nyaega, Nyambeki, Nyanchoka, Ndigwa, Onserio, Nyakara, Osebe, Obare, Peris, Rebecca, Margaret, Beatrice, Esther, Agnes, Angaine, Siriba, Otara, Ongoto, Janet, Joel Momanyi, Bonareri, Nyang’au among others. Son-in-law of Simion Nyamachere and Florence Mokeira. Brother-in-law of Abner, Bruce, Nancy, Jane, Sharon. A dear cousin, colleague, and friend to many.

A fundraiser to offset funeral expenses is scheduled for Tuesday, 10th March 2020 at 5:00 PM at The Professional Centre in Nairobi and Dan’s Hotel in Kisii.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital on Thursday 12/03/20. There shall be a brief stopover at the Kisii Law Courts, and a church service at Matoke SDA Church in Nyamataro before proceeding to Raitigo Settlement Scheme, Esise Location, Borabu, Nyamira County for burial on the Friday, 13/03/2020.

It’s with great sadness we announce the passing on of Eliud H. M. Fundi.

He was the son of the Late Hudson Mvungu and the Late Jackbed Ngima. He has left behind a loving wife, children, many grandchildren, brothers and sisters.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his Rukuriri home, Runyenjes Constituency, Embu County. Prayer meetings will be held today 10th March and tomorrow 11th March, 2020 at All Saints Cathedral Kindergarten, Nairobi from 5:00pm.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home, Embu County on Friday 13th March 2020 at 9.00am for the funeral service. He will thereafter be laid to rest at his Rukuriri home.

Beloved husband of Nancy Wanja Mundati. Dotting father of Susan Wangari and Josephine Gathoni. Father-in-law of Elijah Nyambura and adored grandfather of Jaden Mundati.

Son-in-law of the late Peter & Josephine Kariuki Murigwa. Brother of the late Janet Wairimu & Hon. Muinga Chokwe, Dr. J.P. Gatabaki & Mary Wairimu, Hon. Njehu & Rachel Mwihaki Gatabaki, Daniel Kung’u & Wanjiru Gatabaki (USA), Kinyanjui & Tracey Gatabaki (Canada), Margaret Ng’endo, Grace Waithira, the late Arch.
