It is with profound sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu Robert Mwaura (RB) on Tuesday 4th February 2020, following a tragic road accident.

Son of the late Wilson Gitau and Naomi Nyambura. Husband of the late Lucy Wambui (RB) and Consolata Wanjiru. Father of Patrick Mungai and Diana Wambui, Engineer Antony Mwaura and Rose Njeri, Joel Mwangi and Alice Wainoe, Hon. Nancy Nyambura, Hon. Susan Wanjiru and Lawrence Mwangi, Margaret Njeri and Joshua Wahome. Brother of the late Gabriel Gachuhi, Evanson Kiarie, Margaret Wanjiru, Duncan Njoroge, Joyce Njoki, Stephen Macharia, Lydia Wambui, the late Jeniffer Waithera, Peter Ng’ang’a and Lucy Njeri. He is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kamae Village and at Shell Petrol Station Ngoingwa (Sijas) starting from 4:30pm to 7:30pm except for Saturday.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalissa Funeral Home (Kabati-Kenol) along Thika road on Thursday 13th February 2020 at 9:00am for church service to be held at Rurii Catholic Church followed by final rites at his home in Kandara, Karimamwaro, Kamae Village.

Sister of Shelmith, Sammy, Njagi, late Mihiuko, Muteru, Kariuki and Karige.

Sister-in-law, auntie, cousin of many. Grandmother of Imani, Furaha, Neema, Wangui, Maureen and Wamucii.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Bluevalley, Kiambuthi Embu for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Prayers and funeral arrangement are being held daily at his home in Sunton Mwiki from 6 pm, Ngara Rwathia Restaurant next to Total Petrol Station from 5 pm to 8 pm and at their rural home.

The cortege leaves K.U Mortuary on Tuesday 11 Feb. 2020, 7am for funeral service and burial that will be held in Rwanyambo, Kinangop, Nyandarua County.

Mother of Fidelis Wangari and John Waithaka, Regina Njoki and Vincent Muroki. Sister of Grace Njeri, Joseph Munene and Rose Wairimu. Grandmother of Zaila Njambi. Daughter-in-law of Mary Muchiku Muroki of Kaimba Village Kahuho Muguga Ward. Sister-in-law of Kinya and Agnes Kinya, Stanley Mwacha, Fidelis Wanjiru, Vincent and Elizabeth Kigathi, Paul and Nancy Ndung’u.

The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Hospital funeral home on Tuesday 11th February 2020 at 9.am for funeral service and burial at their home Kaimba Village.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home Sigona (Golfline) for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a fundraising on Sunday 9th Feb. 2020 to offset the medical bill.

Loving Grandfather to Kevin Kago, Marycate Njeri, Grace Njambi and Victoria Njeri. Son of the late Josphat Ng’ang’a Gichia and the late Maria Njeri Ng’ang’a of Kianjogu Githunguri Sub County. He was a brother to Josephine Nyokabi Kinuthia, the late George Gathiiru, the late Regina Wanene, the late Peter Mbugua, Hannah Njoki Kiruri, Margaret Nduta, John Njau, Joseph Kamau and brothers and sisters born of Naomi Mumbi Nganga.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Sagana home, Kinji village at 4pm, also at Greystone at his Plots at 2pm every day and at Kianjogu, Githunguri at 4pm every day.

The cortege shall leave the Thika Montezuma Monalisa Funeral home (Kabati) on Tuesday 11th Feb at 8am for a funeral service and interment at his Sagana home from 10am.

Sister of John Kiige Kiarie (Embu), Jane Wangari Kiarie (MP Shah Hospital Nairobi), Samuel Kahura Kiarie, Joan Nyambura Kiarie, the late Michael Mwangi Kiarie and Aunt of many. Grandmother of irungu, Jesse, Lizzie, Kendi, Noah among others.

Bilha Amadi and the late Catherine Vuhya. Mother-in-law of Evelyne Gohole, David Omondi, Paul Kasana, Concepta Okodoi and Elisha Amadi. Grandmother of Wayne, Otto, Brandon, Mideva, Tim, Miranda, Yunia, Joshua, Victor, Vivienne, Valerie, Samantha, Elizabeth, Rose, Timona, Leila and Gianna. Sister of Sapientia Eskut, Margaret Odunguli, Anthony Etyang’ and Mary Papa.

The body lies at the MTRH Farewell Home.

The cortege leaves on Monday 10th February, 2020 for a requiem mass at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Mwamba then to her farm in Mwamba for burial on Wednesday 12th February, 2020.

Foster mother of Ebby Lozenja, Ebby Aregana, Kevin, Dickson, Sally, Kasandi and Getrude.

Grandmother and great grandmother of many. Sister of Alfred Muguzu, Jeremiah, Judith Liveha, James, Rose Mwanzi, the late Fredrick, Beatrice Khamala, Nickson, the late Kenneth, Evans and Morris Muguzu.

The cortege left Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu on Thursday 6th February, 2020 for Service and night vigil at her house in Eshisiru, Lurambi Sub-County.

Burial will be held at her home in Sango Ward, Lugari Sub-County, Kakamega County on 8th February, 2020.

Aristo Maingi (ABC Uganda), James & Angeline, Androcles & Peninna, Christine & Kyalo, Stephen (Makueni County Government) & Eng. Annastasia Ndunda (KERRA). Step mother to Paul, Ruth, Michael, Pst Justus Makanga, John, Mumbua, Lembi and Kavuli. Sister of the late Mwikali Keli. She had 48 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren.
