It is with deep sorrow, but with humble acceptance of the will of the Almighty God, that we announce the demise of Andrew Kariuki Kiragu (Formely of Thika Water), that occurred on 15th of May, 2019 at Central Memorial Hospital Thika.

Son of Charles Kiragu Kamau and Lucy Wamuhu Kiragu. Brother of Samuel Macharia Kiragu (KPLC), Simon Murigi Kiragu (Ruiru) and Helen Njeri Kiragu (Safaricom).

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home in Migumo-ini Village and Progressive Restaurant, Kasarani opposite Powestar Supermarket.

The cortege leaves General Kago Funeral Home, Thika on Thursday 23rd May, 2019 at 9.00 am for burial at his father’s home in Migumo-ini Village Gathera, Murang’a County from 12 noon.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Haraka Farm Mau Summit Molo.

The cortege will leave St. Joseph’s Funeral Home Molo on Friday 24th May, 2019 at 9.00am for a church service at her home from 11.00am. The body shall be laid to rest at her home thereafter.

Loving husband of Mrs. Sarah Namayanja Gatonye. Father of Joyce Wairimu, Emma Wanjiku, Moses Mwangi, Esther Gachiku, Robert Mugabi, Leah Wangari, Edward Hannington and the late Carol Njeri, Jane Njeri and Rachel Njeri. A great-grandfather, father-in-law and uncle of many.

She was a devoted mother to Wairimu, Waweru and Chebet, Kinyanjui and Sheila, Cege and Nyambia, the late Ngugi and Njeri.

She was a warm and wonderful Cucu to Njiiri, Chege & Kinyanjui Waweru; Njiiri, Thiongo, Waweru & Thogori Kinyanjui; Thogori, Wangeci & Nimu Cege; Njiiri Njeri Karago and many more.

Prayers are being held daily at her home in Nyari South, Bishop’s Gate at 5.30pm.

The burial service will be held on Thursday, 23rd May 2019, at 11.00am. at Emmanuel Church Kibiciku.
