It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Wakili Elizabeth Cheptanui Rotich of E.C. Rotich and Co. Advocates, which occurred on Saturday 24th June 2017 at Reale Hospital after a short illness.

Beloved daughter of the late Fredrick Rotich (Elijah) and Sarah Rotich and the late Magdaline Rotich. Sister of Rose Kogo, Cecilia Somgok, Charity Kosgey, Emily Rotich, Julius Maiyo and Stella Jerubet. Cherished mother of Silvia Jelimo, the late Asbel Kipchumba, Nimrod Kiprop and Alexia Chemutai. Sister-in-law of Ruth Maiyo. Her uncles and aunties are the late John Sugut, Joseph Maiyo, Simon Murei, Augustine Rotich, David Bor, John Tanui, Pius Bor, Paul Bor, Simon Bor, Bot Chepchoge, Bot Busienei, Jane Sitienei, Christine, Mary Cheborgei,Tecia Koros, Eshter Kichwen, Julian Chemaget, Salina Bor, Jane Bar and Rael Bor. granddaughter of Sawe Arap Too (Roryo), Kibor Kemei, Bor Cheptabut, Bot Borisei and Bot Meresei. She was auntie and cousin of many.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily from 5.00pm at her home in Hazina Estates Eldoret and at her parents, home in Chepkunyuk. A fundraising shall be held on Friday 30th june 2017 at Hotel Comfy in Eldoret starting at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on 3rd July 2017 for a funeral service at High Court Eldoret and thereafter move to Kapchuriai Viallage, Chepkunyuk location for Burial on Tuesday, 4th July 2017.

Father of Stephen Gikundi, Henry Murega, Susan Mwarania, Agnes Wainaina,VVollece Mwirigi and Alfred Kinoti. Father in law of Jane Gikundi, Wainaina Kironyo, Gacheri Murega and Freda Kinoti. Grandfather ofYvonne, Kim, Barbra, Guantai, Ruguru, Breda, Eunice, Ted, Dennis,Nkatha,Tash and Mike. Great grandfather of many.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi and Kaaga home from Friday 30th June 2017, Monday and Tuesday 3rd and 4th July 2017, at 5.00 p.m. The cortege leaves St.Theresa’s Mission Hospital Kiirua on Thursday 6th July 2017, at 10.00 a.m.

Funeral service will be held at Kaaga Methodist Church at 11.00 a.m, followed by burial at the family home in Kaaga, Meru County.

Son of the late Ndwiga Micumano and Charity Marigu. Loving husband of Jesca Ndwiga, Principal Kigari Primary School. Father of Curtis Njagi and Purity Karimi. A doting grandfather of Kendi Mbeia. He was a brother and a cousin of many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at his homestead. Funeral is scheduled for 3rd July, 2017 at Kamama village, Embu.

In-law of John Wathigo of Kimende and Johnson Muhia of Ndeiya and Jane Wanjiku. Grandmother of Ryan Wathigo and Ethan Githoitho. Aunt and cousin of many. Prayers are being held at Umoja II Zone I Plot 258/2 and at their rural home at Gachoire daily from 6pm. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary (KU) on Tuesday July 4th 2017 at 8.00 am. Holy mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Gachoire the same day starting 12.00 noon and thereafter the burial at her Gachoire home.

Joyce was the daughter of Mr. Paul Muia Mbwesa and Mrs. Elizabeth Mbaika Mbwesa. Sister of Prof. Dorothy Mutisya (Seku), Ruth Kivui (Ministry of Lands), Titus, the late Eric and Kioko. Sister in law of Anne Mbinya, the late Cosmas Mbuvi, Antony Mbuvi, Angelina Mbuvi, James Mbuvi among others. Aunt of Musembi, Mbinya, Emily, Mwende, Hono, Mbithe, Paul among others.

Daily meetings for funeral arrangements are being held at Nyayo Stadium, Pool Cafeteria from 5: 30pm up to Friday 30th June 2017. There will be a memorial services at St. Paul’s University of Nairobi Chapel on Monday 3rd July 2017 starting at 10:00am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home off Mbagathi Road on 4th July, 2017 at 7:00am; there will be a funeral service at Mulala Catholic Church from 1.00pm, followed by the burial at the family home Kwethelu village.

Burial arrangements are taking place at Isiolo and his home in Maralal. The burial will take place at Milimani village, Maralal on Friday 30th June 2017.
