It is with deep regret that we announce the death of James- Karuga Kahindo of Diamond Chemicals & Galaxy Plastics.

Husband of Ann Wawira Karuga. Son of the late Daniel Kahindo Kairu and Leah Watetu Kahindo of Mwea – Wanguru. Son-in-law of Joshua Nyaga Mbai and Margaret Muthoni Mbai. Father of Daniel Kahindo Karuga (UoN), Leah Watetu (Brookhouse School), Neema Muthoni Karuga (Montessouri School Gigiri).

Brother of the late Charles Kairu, Samuel Kang’ethe of Gilgil, Eunice Nduta of Kitale and FrancisWanyoike of Bechamel Chemicals. Brother-in-law of Francis Nyaga, Irene Wanjiru, Loise Wanjiku and John Mbai.

Friends and family are meeting from Wednesday 5th, Thursday, 6th, Friday 7th and Monday 10th July, 2017 at St. Andrews Church – Nairobi – from 5.30pm.

Burial date will be announced later.

The cottage leaves Kikuyu Mission Hospital on Friday, 7th July 2017 at 9.00am for a church service at ACK Kirangari, Gikuni, Kabete Sub-County, and thereafter burial at his home in Gikuni.

Wife of the late Mzee Peter Oketch Nyanunga. Daughter of the late Martin Osambla Maroko Othembo and late Getrude Osewe Osambla. Sister of Maria Aduol. Co-wife of the late Maria Ogaga, the late Margaret Agutu and the late Gaudensia Osure. Mother of Winnie Akinyi, Johanes Obondi, Francis Ochieng’, the late John Odhiambo, Caroline Anyango, Maureen Akoth, the late Paul Odongo, and Florence Adhiambo. Step-mother of Benedict Gor, Joseph Otieno, Francis Omondi, Alule, Onyango, Odongo, Anjelina Nduiri, Juma, Odiedo, Oduor and Fred. Mother-in-law of Risper, Monica, Caroline, Alfayo Onyango, Fred Ochieng among others. Grandmother of Sidney Oketch, Michelle, Sabrina,Angela, Brian, Gertrude, Duncan, Ronald, Edmund, Christine, Mercy, Brandon, Bradley, Kelvin, Jeremy, Alfayo Junior, Cynthia, Lyne, Junior, Henry, Nicole,Ashley and Wesley. Great-grandmother of Jasmine Pendo and Tyreh Omondi.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and meetings at the Ambassador Hotel, Nairobi at 5.30p.m. The main fundraising will be held on Thursday 6th July 2017 from 5.30 p.m. at All Saints Cathedral, Kindergarten Nairobi.

The body will be removed from Bama Funeral Home, Siaya on Friday 14th July at 9.00 a.m followed by a service at Ramba Catholic Church, Siaya. Burial will be held on Saturday 15th July 2017 at her home in Pap Nyadiel Ngiya- Siaya from 10.00 a.m.

Cherished mother of the Late Adroncun Maina and Marion Wahito, Mary Njer), Salome Wanjiru, Eva Ng’endo, Onesmus Mwangi (Muraguri & Muraguri Advocates) and Lucy Nduta and Danson Kariuki (Muraguri & Muraguri Advocates) and Catherine Wairimu. Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to many.

Funeral arrangements will be held from Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th July 2017 at Tumaini House 5th floor from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

The cortege leaves Kiria-ini Mission Hospital (Kiria-ini Murang’a) on Friday 7th July 2017 at 8:00 am for a funeral service at A.C.K.Wahundura at 9:00am followed by burial at her farm in Wahundura.

Father of Brian Ngari Thimbui and Nicholas Muriuki Thimbui. Brother of Joseph Macharia, Patrick Karingithi, Margaret Ngima, Charles Macharia, Stephen Kangeri, Godfrey Kameru, and Agnes Nyawira. Brother-in-law of Ann Wangechi, Josephine Njoki, Jane Wanjiru, Susan Muthoni Mercy Wambui and Jackson Kuria.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparations at Salama restaurant along Thika Road and their home in Eastleigh. There will be a memorial service at 2B St. Anthony Eastleigh, on Thursday 6th July 2017 at 6pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 7th July 2017 at 7.00am for the burial which will be held at his parents home in Mathira, Kabiruini, Nyeri county.

Father of Susan Wangui, Gladys Anne Wanjiru (KCB Nyahururu) and Henry Thuo (Business Man Nyahururu), Nicas Njoroge, Beatrice Mbaire (ABC Bank), Samuel Kinuthia (Kims College) and Margaret Warnbui.

Brother of the late Leonard Mwangi, Beatrice Mbaire, the late Teresa Waciira, Consolata Mungai, Salome Njoroge, Dr Joseph Ruminjo, Lucy Waithera, Patrick Ngugi, Michael Nyamu and Raphael Muchina. Brother-in-law of Hiram Wachira, Mary Ngugi and Beth Muchina. Grandfather of Grace, Gabriel and Peter. Uncle of many.

Family and Friends are meeting from Monday 3rd July to Thursday 6th July for prayers and funeral arrangement at his home in Kagira Village, Gaichanjiru, Muranga County and at Holy Family Basilica from 5pm at St. Bakhita Hall-Old Basilica Hall upstairs.

The cortege will leave KU funeral home on Friday 7th July 2017 at 7am for the funeral service at 12pm at St Stephens Catholic Church Kagira. Burial will take place thereafter at his home.
