Catherine Mbaire Mutahi

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Catherine Mbaire Mutahi, on 23rd August, 2022.

Daughter of the late Muraguri Kinyanjui and Gladys Muthoni. Daughter in law to the late Norman Mutahi and the late Ruth Gathoni.

Loving wife to Richard Gathiomi Mutahi. Beloved mother of Manasseh Mutahi, Peninah Gathoni, Gladys Wangui, Laura Wambui, Samuel Muraguri and James Wari. Mother-in-law of Ian Wanyoike, Joseph Kamau and Catherine Nkatha.

She was sister to Rose Wanjohi, Henry Kinyanjui, George Muchangi, Henry Karingithi and Irene Muchiru.

Sister-in-law to Mwangi Mutahi, Mary Mwangi, Jane Mwangi, the late Julia Wangamwa, the late Paul Maina, Rose Maina, Andrew Kariuki, Egigiah Kariuki, the late Edward Iregi and Christabel Wangui Njoroge.

A doting grandmother of Jesse Macharia, Solomon Gathiomi, Shawn Gathiomi, Sasha Mbaire, Baraka Kinyanjui and Jabali Gathiomi.

The cortege leaves Jamii Funeral Home – Karatina on 30th August, 2022 at 09:00am for a funeral service and burial at her home in Mweru, Mukurweini, Nyeri County.
