It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of former councilor Dan Macharia on 23/8/2022. He hails from KaringaVillage, Kinyona Location, Kigumo, Muranga County.

Son to the late Njihia Mugwe and Rahab Nyambura Njihia, Brother to the late Mugwe Njihia, Late Joyce Wairmu, late Nathan Mwangi and Ruth Muthoni.

Loving husband to the late Mary Wangari, late Phylis Njeri and Lucy Wanjiku. Father to Jane Nyambura, late Rahab Nyambura, Simon Njihia, Mary Njeri, Joyce Wairimu, Eunice Nyambura, Margret Wambui, Rahab Wanjiku, John Njihia, Janet Wanjiku, Hudson Kamau, Naomi Muthoni, John Mugwe and Susan Wanjiru.

Father-in-law to Sammy Waruingi, Gabriel Njoroge, Peter Njiri, Simon Kamunye, Edith Nyambura, Mary Wangari, Beatrice Muthoni among others. Grandfather and great grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at Blue Springs Hotel along Thika Road and at his rural home in Kagundu Village, Kinyona, Murang’a County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Thika Road Kabati on Wednesday 31st August 2022 at 7:30 am for church service and burial at his home Kagundu, Kinyona Location at 11:00 am.
