Catherine Wangui Kariuki
It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Catherine Wangui Kariuki which occurred on 7/01/2018 at Nairobi West Hospital after a short illness.
She was a deputy headteacher at Karati Primary School. Wife of James Kariuki Wathiai, teacher at Ndothua Prmary School. Daughter of Joseph Gathungu Murimi and the late Mary Wangechi Gathungu. Loving mother of Zaveria Njeri (Delyde Associates), Barnabas Wathiai (Concern Worlwide), Joseph Gathungu (TUM-Mombasa) & Emmanuel Wahome (KCA). Sister of James Murimi (Gathambi Primary), Samuel Maina (Nguku Primary), Peterson Wanjohi OKUAT), Daniel Mugo (USA), Nicholas Mwaniki(business man) and Nancy Wairimu (business lady).Aunt and grandmother of many.
Relative and friends are meeting daily in her home Kwa haraka, Githabai Location, South Kinangop, Oakwood Hotel and Norwich Union.
The cortege leaves Chiromo mortuary on Tuesday 16/01/2018 for burial at her home.
2 Timothy 1 8; Mum you fought a good fight, kept the faith and finished the race. Rest in eternal peace.

Please find comfort in knowing that Jehovah God has promised a resurrection at Acts 24:15 and this is something we can look forward to. Our heavenly father knows the pain we go through when we lose someone in death and has therefore promised to wipe out death forever- Isaiah 25:8 and 1Cor 15:26.
