It is with humble accpetance of God’s will that we announce the death of Cecilia Muthoni Githara, after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Joseph Githara Ngunda and the late Jane Wairimu Githara. Wife of Richard Mwangi Kirigwe. Mother of Anthony Seth Kirigwe, Jane Wairimu Mwangi (S.A), Caroline Waithera Mwangi (Pipeline), Florence Wanjiku Njuguna (South Africa) and Joseph Githara Mwangi (Gikomba). Sister of David Kimani Githara, Peter Kamau Githara, Anna Wanjiku (Germany), Margaret Wambui (Germany) and Lucy Kamau (Happyland Pangani). Step sister of Cecilia Muthoni Karanja (Kikuyu). Mother-in-law of Simon Njuguna (S.A). Sister-in-law of John Peter Kamau Ruhangi (Duckfarm Waters). Grandmother of Michele Muthoni (Tigoni International Sch.), James Mwangi, Mary Blessing (Precious Brooke Sch.).Auntie and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting at her house in Pipeline Embakasi daily from 6.00pm and at her sister’s home in Garden Estate daily from 6pm. The cortege leaves KU Mortuary on Wednesday 19/07/2017 at 8.30am for funeral service and burial at Lang’ata cemetery at 10.30am.
