It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the demise of Charity Mbaire Maami which occurred on 9th March 2019 while undergoing treatment at KNH private wing.

Daughter of the late Phinihas Muya Wacigo and Marion Wangari Muya. Loving wife of John Maami Murage. Mother of Stanley Muya Maami and Beth Waruguru Muya, Marion Wangari Githinji and Peter Githinji Gakuru, Kenneth Murage and Alice Wangari Murage, Mercy Muthoni Maami, Dorcas Wamuyu Mwangi (KenPipe Sacco) and John Mwangi Macharia (Kenya Pipeline Company), Kellen Njeri Githuku (Co-operative Bank) and Rev James Githuku Mwangi (ACK Diocese of Nairobi), Boniface Mwangi Maami and Charles Mama Maami (Solai Paints). Sister of Kellen Njeri Gacee, the late Malachi Waicigo Muya, Norah Muthoni Kongu, Benson Mwangi Gakure, David Kariuki Muya, Jairus Gitu Muya, Mary Wanjiku Muya and Jackson Macharia Muya. She is a grandmother and a great-grandmother of many.

Friends and family are meeting at her home in Gathuki-ini village and ACK St Stephens Cathedral Jogoo Road from 6.00pm for prayer and funeral preparation.

The Memorial service will be on Sunday 17th March, 2019 at ACK St Veronica South B from 4:30pm.

The cortege will leave KU funeral home on Friday 22nd March 2019 at 8:00am. The funeral service will be held at ACK St Michael Gathuki-ini from 11:00am. Thereafter the burial will take place at her home in Gathuki-ini village, Gaturi location, Kiharu Constituency, Muranga County.
