Charles Gachau Kabue

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Charles Gachau Kabue of American Embassy Nairobi on the 25th September, 2019.

Son of Lucia Wangui Kabue the late Bernard Kabue Githiomi of Gatitu Village, Nyeri County. Loving husband of Alice Njeri Gachau. Adoring father of Lucy Wangui (St. Bridget Hospital, Starehe) and Stella Muthoni (USA). Brother of Eunice Nyawira (Narok), Anthony Mwangi (Gatitu), Jane Wanjiru (OI-Kalau), Councillor John Kabue of Gatitu and Karobia Kabue (Tayari Butchery), Gatitu. Son-in-law of Mrs. Cecilia Wanyoike and the late Wanyoike Ndabi of Micha Village, Nyeri. Brother-in-law of Stephen Mwangi, Joyce Wairimu Mwangi, Peter Ndei, Catherine Ndibui and Jane Karobia. A doting grandfather of Liam, Gregory, Sean and Shiroh. Loving uncle of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their Gatitu home from 3.00pm, Homeland Inn Thika Road and at his Ruiru Murera Residence, Coffee Riverside Estate near PCEA Mukuyu Church at 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 4th October, 2019 at 7.00am followed by a requiem Mass at St. Benedict Kiamuiru Catholic Church at 11.00am. Interment shall take place thereafter at their home in Gatitu, Kamunyiri Village, Nyeri.
